26 September during a Plenary session, the first two of the three Parts that make up the Council:<br data-start=\"265\" data-end=\"268\" \/>Part I, States of chief importance in air transport (a category in which Italy has always been included), and Part II, States which make the largest contribution to the provision of facilities for international civil air navigation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"502\" data-end=\"909\">In Part I, with 184 Member States voting, out of 11 candidates for 11 seats, 10 Member States were (re-)elected:<br data-start=\"614\" data-end=\"617\" \/>Brazil (167)<br data-start=\"629\" data-end=\"632\" \/>China (165)<br data-start=\"643\" data-end=\"646\" \/>Japan (165)<br data-start=\"657\" data-end=\"660\" \/>Italy (163)<br data-start=\"671\" data-end=\"674\" \/>Canada (159)<br data-start=\"686\" data-end=\"689\" \/>France (158)<br data-start=\"701\" data-end=\"704\" \/>Australia (156)<br data-start=\"719\" data-end=\"722\" \/>United States (156)<br data-start=\"741\" data-end=\"744\" \/>Germany (155)<br data-start=\"757\" data-end=\"760\" \/>United Kingdom (154)<br data-start=\"780\" data-end=\"783\" \/>The Russian Federation was not elected within Part I, receiving 87 votes and therefore not reaching the required quorum of 93.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"911\" data-end=\"1212\">For Italy, both in terms of ranking and number of votes received, this is an excellent result, achieved thanks to the teamwork of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MIT), and the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<div class=\"pointer-events-none h-px w-px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
