{"id":653,"date":"2025-04-17T00:51:09","date_gmt":"2025-04-16T22:51:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/italiarappicao.esteri.it\/?p=653"},"modified":"2025-07-23T00:52:52","modified_gmt":"2025-07-22T22:52:52","slug":"italy-at-the-icao-facilitation-conference-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/italiarappicao.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dalla_rappresentanza\/2025\/04\/italy-at-the-icao-facilitation-conference-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Italy at the ICAO Facilitation Conference 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"157\" data-end=\"413\">Doha, 14\u201317 April 2025 \u2013 The Italian Delegation to ICAO participated in the 2025 Facilitation Conference, organized by ICAO and hosted by the State of Qatar, on the theme <em data-start=\"328\" data-end=\"413\">\u201cFacilitating the Future of Air Transport: Collaboration, Efficiency, Inclusivity.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"415\" data-end=\"697\">Representing Italy officially, Ambassador Sergio Martes, Permanent Representative to ICAO, took part in the proceedings, confirming our country\u2019s strong commitment to promoting a civil aviation system that is increasingly inclusive, accessible, and respectful of passengers\u2019 rights.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"699\" data-end=\"1159\">On behalf of ENAC, Dr. Mark De Laurentiis, Director of Passenger Rights Protection, spoke in the panel dedicated to <em data-start=\"815\" data-end=\"865\">\u201cAccessibility in International Civil Aviation.\u201d<\/em> His contribution provided an overview of Italy\u2019s main initiatives in support of Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRMs), the result of joint work between authorities, operators, and associations\u2014particularly through the permanent technical body Italian Disability Advisory Board promoted by ENAC.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1161\" data-end=\"1712\">Among the best practices presented were the <em data-start=\"1205\" data-end=\"1223\">\u201cOne Click Away\u201d<\/em> project, which simplifies direct access to information for PRMs on airline websites;
