Ambassador Martes took part today in a visit of the ICAO Council, led by the President and the Secretary General of the Organization, to AIRBUS’s Canadian site (Mirabel), where the production facility of the A220 model is located.
During the visit, the importance of close cooperation between industry and institutions was reiterated, in order to foster the harmonious development of the sector and the achievement of ICAO’s strategic objectives, particularly in terms of flight safety, environmental sustainability, and accessibility to air transport for an ever wider public.
