The Twentieth Symposium on the ICAO Traveller Identification Programme (TRIP) was inaugurated today in Montréal by President Salvatore Sciacchitano.
The Symposium, which will conclude on 6 November 2025, is themed “Identity Beyond Borders: Building the Next Generation of Seamless Travel.” Within ICAO’s premises, a range of exhibitors are showcasing a wide selection of products and services, mainly related to travel document security applications and identity management.
The Symposium is naturally addressed, among others, to entities in the various Member States responsible for passport issuance and civil registration, border control and law enforcement agencies, aviation security and public health authorities, and airport operators.
