Following its adherence to the ACT-SAF program with ICAO, Italy announced the start of a concrete collaboration project with the International Organization and Angola.
The Italian Permanent Representative Sergio Martes made a statement during the ‘ICAO Pledging Initiative plenary session’, recalling the Declaration made by Hon. Edoardo Rixi, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, during the Plenary Assembly, as part of his participation in the event.
The Ambassador recalled that ‘Italy and Angola are friendly countries, with a long-standing and fruitful collaboration, also in the energy sector, and therefore we hope that it will yield excellent results in this area as well.’
‘From the beginning, and for the first time for ACT-SAF projects, Angola decided to co-finance the operation,‘ he continued, ‘with an interesting, attractive, and innovative collaboration formula, which we hope can be usefully replicated on other occasions.’
