The 42nd ICAO General Assembly, the Organization’s main event, is about to begin. Held every three years in Montreal, it brings together political, diplomatic, and technical delegates from the 193 Member States to discuss current issues and challenges in the aviation sector, as well as to elect the Council Representatives for the next three-year term.
Italy is once again a candidate, as in previous editions, to renew its seat in the so-called Part I of the Council, which is reserved for the countries of greatest importance in the field of civil aviation.
