Meetings took place in Montreal, coinciding with the final phase of the Council session, between ENAC President Pierluigi Di Palma, accompanied by Deputy Director General Nicolai, and the top ICAO officials: Secretary General Salazar and Council President Onuma.
Among the various topics discussed were the hoped-for increase in the powers of national authorities; the transport of PET up to 30 kg in the cabin, as well as the “Rent Carrozzella” project.
The President of the Council and the ICAO Secretary General thanked President Di Palma for the productive meeting and for the continuous support ensured by Italy, also through the Permanent Representation.
Great appreciation was also expressed for the work carried out by former President Sciacchitano, recently awarded by ICAO with the title of “Lifetime Goodwill Ambassador.”
